▷ A total of 90 overseas companies from 34 countries and 200 domestic companies to participate
▷ Actively promoting outstanding green technologies and industries of Korean companies to boost export opportunities
The Ministry of Environment (Minister Kim Wansup) and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) announced that they will jointly host Global Green Hub Korea 2025 with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) at COEX (located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul) from June 11 to 13.
Global Green Hub Korea (GGHK) is an event designed to support Korean companies in discovering or securing promising overseas green projects by inviting overseas clients and buyers in the green industry sector. The event, which began in 2009, is being held for the 18th time this year. This year’s event will feature participation from 90 overseas organizations and companies from 34 countries, as well as 200 domestic companies.
This year’s event consists of the Global Green Vision Forum, one-on-one export consultation meetings, and briefings on overseas green projects. Notably, it will be held in conjunction with the International Exhibition on Environmental Technology & Green Energy (ENVEX 2025)*.

The total scale of the projects presented by overseas clients and buyers this time amounts to $8 billion (approximately KRW 10.8 trillion). Major projects include the $700 million water treatment project by the Bangladesh Water Supply and Sewerage Authority, and the $9.5 million green project by the President’s Office of Tanzania.
In addition, the one-on-one export consultation meetings will provide domestic companies with an opportunity to actively showcase the excellence of their various environmental (green) technologies to overseas clients and buyers.
At the Global Green Vision Forum, high-ranking officials from cooperating countries in the green industry, including Roberto Luque Nuques, Minister of Transport and Public Works of Ecuador, and Nana Ama Browne Klutse, Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Authority of Ghana, will deliver keynote speeches on carbon reduction and greenhouse gas mitigation.
In addition, officials from multilateral development banks, includingFrancisco Gonzales Medina, Lead Environmental Specialist at the Inter-American Developoment Bank (IDB), and Taisei Matsuki, Senior Climate Change Specialist at the World Bank (WB), will present their roles and efforts toward sustainable carbon reduction.
Son Ok-joo, Deputy Minister of the Planning and Coordination Office at the Ministry of Environment, stated, “Korea possesses outstanding green technologies across a wide range of fields, from the installation and operation of water and sewage systems and pollution prevention technologies to advanced technologies such as green hydrogen, seawater desalination, and waste-to-energy.” He added, “We will continue to create opportunities for exchange with overseas clients and buyers to promote the excellence of Korean technologies in the rapidly growing global green industry market.”
